| At the heart of the Queen Ruby gourmet goods range is a selection of unique biscuits, biscotti, amaretti and other sweet things, all from the culinary brain of Queen Ruby herself, Deborah Labi. Having come from a large family and an ethnic background, food, both plentiful and flavourful, was a very prominent feature for Deborah growing up.

| Following a nine-year sojourn in the corporate world, overseas travel and new challenges were required and the Queen Ruby brand was launched in 2000 in a Deli in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Demand for the biscuits grew, as did the Queen's ideas for new product. Soon a new outlet was required, so in 2000, Queen Ruby appeared alone and proud at the Christmas Paddington market.

| At the core of her product philosophy, the Queen demands a generosity of simple, everyday ingredients, combined with a twist to make each product a unique taste sensation. She also believes that the main cost of her products should be the key ingredients and not fancy packaging!

| The unique range includes a specially created selection of gluten and dairy free products as customers often commented on their special dietary needs. Her products can also be purchased from a growing range of retail specialists throughout Sydney, Queensland, South Australia and Alice Springs!
